Ocean & Black Sea
Le processus créatif d’« Ocean » et « Black Sea » a commencé alors que je recherchais des idées pour l’exposition Art Normandie, et son thème « Si le Bleu m’était conté ». Je suis tombée par accident sur une série de superbes photos de l’océan, et de ses vagues ourlant de longues étendues de sable. J’ai vraiment aimé ces photos, car je vis loin de la mer, et je n’ai que rarement l’occasion de voir son infinie beauté, sa
puissance immaculée. Et depuis l’université, je suis littéralement amoureuse de la combinaison des couleurs beiges et bleues. De cette inspiration sont nés ces deux tableaux, représentant chacun à leur manière deux aspects différents de l’Océan. Le premier rappelle la sensation de chaleur, de fraîcheur et de joie qui nous enveloppe un jour d’été à la plage. Le second dépeint son côté indompté, sombre, voire dangereux
The creative process of “Ocean” and “Black Sea” began when I was looking for ideas for the Art Normandie exhibition, and its theme “If the Blue was told to me”. I accidentally came across a series of beautiful photos of the ocean, and its waves hemming long sandy shores. I really liked these photos, because I live far from the sea, and I rarely have the opportunity to see its infinite beauty, its indomitable power. And since university, I have literally been in love with the combination of beige and blue colors. From this inspiration, these two works were born, each representing in their own way two different aspects of the Ocean. The first recalls the feeling of warmth, freshness and joy that envelopes us on a summer day at the beach. The second depicts its untamed, dark, even dangerous side.
