Ocean

Description

The creative process of “Ocean” began when I was looking for ideas for the “Art Normandie” exhibition (Honfleur, France, sept 2022), and its theme “If the Blue was told to me”.
I accidentally came across a series of beautiful photos of the ocean, and its waves hemming long sandy shores. I really liked these photos, showing the sea its infinite beauty, its indomitable power.
And since university, I have literally been in love with the combination of beige and blue colors. From this inspiration were born two original boards, “Ocean” and “Black Sea” (also available online), each representing in their own way two different aspects of the Ocean.
The first recalls the feeling of warmth, freshness and joy that envelopes us on a summer day at the beach. The second depicts its untamed, dark, even dangerous side.
