Malgré mon long apprentissage artistique, je n’ai jamais vraiment fait de portraits, hormis quelques sculptures de visages antiques. C’était donc un vrai défi pour moi. J’ai commencé à chercher des photos, des dessins inspirants, et j’ai découvert le fabuleux travail de l’artiste Ileana Hunter. Quand j’ai vu le portrait d’Audrey Hepburn, je n’ai plus eu aucun doute. Sa beauté naturelle, la subtile élégance de chacun de ses traits, ont été pour moi une évidence, que je me suis attachée à retranscrire
Despite my long artistic education, I have never really done any portraits, except for a few sculptures of antique faces. So it was a real challenge for me.
