Sama Dance
Ce tableau, réalisé spécialement pour l’exposition, est la mise en œuvre d’un second croquis inspiré de la danse du Sama. Inscrite comme chef d’œuvre du patrimoine culturel et immatériel de l’Unesco, c’est ici son approche spirituelle, voire mystique, que j’ai voulu mettre en lumière. Le tissage et la structure rappellent le mouvement giratoire du danseur. Et la calligraphie arabe qui l’entoure, reflétant la lumière,

This board, created especially for the exhibition , is a second artwork inspired by the Sama dance, listed as a masterpiece of UNESCO cultural and intangible heritage. This time, it is the spiritual, even mystical approach that I have highlighted. The weaving and structure remind the gyrating movement of the dancer. And the Arabic calligraphy that surrounds it, reflecting the light, underlines the Middle Eastern origin of this sacred dance. (This board is also available in my online store)
